The Flag Fold
Lay the napkin flat on the table with the embroidery facing down, positioned so the embroidery sits in the upper right and lower left corners.
Fold the upper left corner up to meet the lower right corner, forming a triangle.
Fold the lower left corner to center of the triangle.
Starting from the bottom point of the triangle, roll the napkin upward in tight, even rolls until you reach about halfway up.
Turn the napkin over so the smooth rolled side faces up.
Place the napkin so the unrolled triangular “flag” section hangs down elegantly over the edge or toward the guest.
